In view of the importance of your testimony, the presiding judge of the jury court has ordered that you be summoned to appear as a witness at the main hearing. Any statements you may have made earlier cannot replace your testimony at the main hearing, since according to the provisions of the German Code of Criminal Procedure, only statements made at the main hearing before the adjudicating court may in principle be used in arriving at a verdict. You are therefore requested to attend the trial on

Thursday, Dec.15 and Tuesday Dec. 20, 1966 9.00 a.m.

to appear before the jury court in Stuttgart, Urbanstrasse 18, jury courtroom.

The expenses incurred by you in traveling to Stuttgart and back and in staying in the Federal Republic of Germany will be reimbursed to you by the Regional Court of Stuttgart in accordance with the statutory provisions.

According to these provisions you will receive

a) reimbursement of travel expenses (round-trip air travel and land travel expenses).

b) reimbursement of expenses for the duration of the outward and return journey and for the duration of your stay in Stuttgart in accordance with the travel expenses regulations applicable here

c) compensation for any loss of earnings (up to 5 DM per hour and up to 10 hours per day). Taking into account your personal circumstances, in particular your regular gainful employment, you may also be granted higher compensation.

Er umfasst neben den Hilfsmitteln ca. 5000 Akten zu NS-Tätern, Kollaborateuren und NS-Tatorten wie Konzentrationslager, Ghettos und Massengräber, aber auch zu öffentlichen Personen der Zeit.
